First Galaxy A57 software update is here

First Galaxy A57 software update is here

Last month, Samsung launched two new Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A57, and promised to offer them six major software updates and security updates for six years. Now, the brand has released the first software update for the latter.

The first software update for the Galaxy A57 is live for the phone’s international model in regions, including Europe and India. It is 395.73MB in size and carries firmware version A576BXXU1AZC2. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Just like the first software update for most Galaxy smartphones, this one neither brings major/visible changes nor a new security patch. Rather, it offers under-the-hood changes. More specifically, the changelog says that for “Stability and reliability,” the “Device behaviour has been improved.”

The phone should receive another (minor) software update within a few weeks, offering either the March 2026 security patch or the April 2026 security patch. As for major software updates for the phone, the first one should bring One UI 9.0 (Android 17), which is currently under development.
